Cadisopra

Romagna DOC Marzeno Sangiovese

Marzeno is a subzone. Cadisopra is its most precise interpretation.

The blue and red clays of the Collina di Agello, the right bank of the Marzeno stream, the day-night temperature variation that no vintage cancels out. Cadisopra is born from a selection of the best parcels of both estates — long maceration, tonneau, then cement — to return the Marzeno in its most complete form: structured, saline, unmistakeable.

The Marzeno.
The smallest subzone
of Romagna DOC.

Blue and red clays, limestone, the right bank of the Marzeno stream. A tight, precise territory where Sangiovese expresses a character found nowhere else in Romagna: marked salinity, vibrant acidity, fine-grained tannins.

Cadisopra is born from a selection of the best parcels of Ca’ di Sopra and Ca’ del Rosso, between 120 and 240 metres on the Collina di Agello. Long maceration, tonneau, cement — to return the Marzeno in its most complete form.
