Remel

Red Wine · Since 2006

Three varieties, three vineyards, three separate ageings. A blend born from patience.

Remel is Ca’ di Sopra’s blend — Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vinified and aged separately for one year in wood, then assembled and rested for six months in cement before bottling. Each variety brings its vineyard, its exposure, its character. The result is a complex wine with a recognisable personality of its own, telling the Marzeno from a different perspective to the pure Sangiovese.

Cabernet Sauvignon
Vigna della Pineta · Ca’ di Sopra
Structure, colour and longevity. Aromatic complexity and a tannic backbone that supports the blend over time.
Merlot
Ronco di Pacì · Ca’ del Rosso
Softness and roundness from the Ca’ del Rosso slope. Integrates the blend and adds depth and fruit.
